Nursery: Bright Horizons Leatherhead Day Nursery and Preschool
Salary: £25,222 - £25,736 per annum (dependant on qualification/s and experience)
We are looking for a full-time, passionate Nursery Assistant to join our Bright Horizons Nursery, situated in Leatherhead.
This nursery offers age and stage spacious rooms, two outside areas for the children to learn and develop, onsite parking, in-house training, friendly staff, easy access to High street and train station and bus links.

What you’ll be doing
1. Working as part of a nursery team looking after babies and children up to the age of 5.
2. Having daily adventures with our children through interactive play, activities, reading and helping them with their curious minds through the learning curriculum.
3. Communicating with parents daily on their child’s activities.
4. Providing a caring and supportive environment where the children feel safe and looked after.
5. Supporting colleagues to encourage the children’s development towards key milestones.
6. Promoting and ensuring child welfare, protection, health and safety, and safeguarding.
What we’re looking for
1. Previous experience working with children ideal but not essential - Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar.
2. Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
3. Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents.
4. Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
5. Sound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of children.
