A South London local authority requires an NEC expert to support the implementation of business-critical workflows in NEC on a temporary contract for around 6 months. This role will be acting as a Repairs team expert on all aspects of the NEC Housing Repairs functionality, working with internal colleagues in the IT team, to make recommendations for improvements that can be made to system configuration and the use of the system.
Key Responsibilities
* Leverage advanced NEC system knowledge to identify configuration improvements.
* Ensure workflows are aligned with business needs and contract management requirements.
* Conduct in-depth business analysis to identify inefficiencies.
* Utilize process mapping and re-engineering techniques to optimize workflows.
* Mentor and develop super users to sustain system performance.
* Provide knowledge transfer and training to ensure long-term effectiveness.
* Collaborate with IT teams and contractors to ensure seamless integration and system functionality.
* Engage with residents and staff to understand and address their diverse needs.
* Set benchmarks and measure outcomes to achieve top-quartile performance.
* Support the implementation of service improvement plans aligned with the HIB Exit Strategy Plan.
Skills and Experience
* Expert knowledge of NEC Housing Repairs functionality.
* Strong understanding of repairs business processes in a contract management setting.
* Advanced skills in business analysis, process mapping, and process re-engineering.
* Familiarity with customer service improvement strategies.
