Our diverse portfolio features jobs valued from £500 to £1,500,000, with over 70 active projects at any given time and 6-8 jobs in progress daily. As we embark on an exciting growth phase, we are seeking a dedicated Client Service & Planner/Scheduler to join our dynamic team.
Role Overview:
In this fast-paced environment, you will play a crucial role in delivering responsive service to our clients. You will be responsible for efficiently scheduling jobs for our teams who operate across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
* Schedule fieldwork for our operatives and appointments for estimators.
* Optimize daily plans to maximize team productivity through effective scheduling.
* Collaborate with the Project Manager and Office Manager to ensure adequate preparation time for materials, staffing, and equipment.
* Monitor job progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet timelines.
* Stay informed about weather conditions to proactively manage scheduling changes.
* Communicate with customers regarding delays and rescheduling, keeping everyone updated.
* Maintain daily updates on job boards and progress reports.
* Liaise with customers to coordinate job dates.
* Continuously seek improvements in the scheduling process.
What You’ll Need:
* Previous scheduling experience, ideally in a high-paced environment.
* Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing site and weather conditions.
* Strong problem-solving abilities, with initiative and teamwork support.
Minimum Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years of planning/scheduling experience required.
* Minimum 2 years of client services experience required.
