Main duties of the job
As a Network Engineer within NHS Informatics Merseyside, you will be responsible for managing our complex network infrastructure, ensuring the delivery of reliable and secure network services to support clinical operations and improve patient outcomes. You will also design and implement network solutions and ensure network security and compliance with relevant standards and policies.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. Proven experience as a Network Engineer, with expertise in Cisco network technologies
2. In-depth knowledge of network security best practices
3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels
5. Experience of designing and implementing network solutions in a complex network environment.

* Evidence of the ability to interpret and follow technical /professional/ administrative IM&T policies, acting with minimum guidelines.
