German-speaking Marketplace / E-commerce Executive (Hybrid, will consider remote) Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 Location: Guildford Contract type: Permanent, full time Work format: Hybrid, 2 days a week in the office (will consider remote) We are a fast-growing company seeking a motivated German-speaking E-commerce Executive to join our team of 30. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who is passionate about e-commerce, online marketplaces (such as Amazon, Otto, Kaufland, MediaMarkt etc.), and DTC sales. You will play a key role in managing and optimising our online marketplace presence, ensuring smooth operations, and driving sales growth. Responsibilities In this role, you will work closely with the Brand Director to: Support the setup, management and optimisation of product listings on platforms such as Amazon, Otto, Kaufland, MediaMarkt and other target marketplaces using the channel software system Channel Engine. Create, edit and optimise product descriptions, titles and images in German to improve visibility and conversion rates. Track key performance indicators, analyse sales data and report on performance to identify areas for improvement. Monitor and handle reviews from German-speaking customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Support marketplace sponsorship opportunities and advertising campaigns to drive traffic and sales. Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitive activities. About You We are looking for a motivated individual who is: Fluent in German (native or near-native level) and fluent in English. Passion for e-commerce, online retail and digital marketing especially creating compelling, data driven product content. An understanding of SEO principles and best practices. Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends. Highly proactive and organised individual. Excellent team player with strong communication skills, able to collaborate effectively within a small team and coordinate with external stakeholders (e.g. SEO and PPC agencies). Experience 3 years working in marketing with experience in product marketing, e-commerce and/or marketplace sales OR a marketing degree with 1 years working in marketing with experience in product marketing, e-commerce and/or marketplace sales. Familiarity with marketplaces and how they work. Experience with Shopify a plus but not required. Experience with Amazon Seller Central or other marketplace platforms is a plus but not required. Experience with Channel Engine or other channel software systems is a plus but not required
