The People Data and Insights Specialist role is a pivotal position within NFU Mutual, designed to leverage advanced analytical thinking, data mastery, and visual storytelling to inform and influence senior leaders across the business. Reporting to the People Data and Insights Manager, this role involves extracting insights from a range of complex internal and external data sources to enable data-driven decision-making at the highest levels, including the Executive Committee. Your role will involve building and maintaining strong relationships with HR executives, senior leaders, and subject matter experts, understanding their business priorities and providing mature insights, recommendations, and key benchmarking data. Additionally, the role requires designing and delivering clear, engaging, and actionable presentations tailored for various audiences, ensuring that data insights are communicated effectively. You’ll also review and enhance the data and insight reporting architecture, ensuring its accuracy and relevance. By researching external data sets and industry benchmarks, you’ll deliver valuable business insights and position the organisation against market standards. In addition, the role involves coaching the People Data and Insights team, leading technical input on projects, collaborating with the HR Systems team, and ensuring data privacy.About youYou’re a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in data analysis and interpretation. You excel in using a range of data manipulation software, including the Microsoft PowerApps suite, to derive meaningful insights from complex data sets. Your expertise includes collating and analysing secondary data on macro and industry trends, as well as researching external data sets, industry benchmarks, and national statistics to provide valuable business insights.
