About the Role
As Group Marketing Manager, you will work closely with the Group Sales Director and business leaders to shape and execute marketing strategies that enhance customer engagement, increase brand visibility, and drive revenue growth. Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan to support the profitable growth of the group's businesses.
2. Position our full-service offerings effectively to target markets, identifying new opportunities and ensuring strong value propositions.
3. Act as the Customer Champion, identifying and delivering unique, commercially viable customer propositions.
4. Collaborate with sales and operational teams to drive alignment and maximise business impact.
1. Marketing Campaigns & Brand Development
Lead multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, email, print, and events.
2. Develop compelling customer and value propositions, clearly articulating product/service benefits.
3. Oversee telesales activity, ensuring effectiveness and alignment with marketing objectives.
4. Manage industry event participation and PR initiatives to enhance brand visibility.
1. Market & Customer Insights
Conduct in-depth market research to inform decision-making and strategy.
2. Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer behaviours.
3. Manage CSI surveys, lost business analysis, and ad hoc research projects.
1. Digital Marketing & Brand Management
Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, social media, and website management.
2. Ensure brand consistency and protect corporate reputation across all marketing channels.
1. Leadership & Team Development
Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team.
2. Developing a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
1. Budget & Performance Management
Manage the marketing budget effectively to maximise return on investment.
2. Track and analyse key performance metrics, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
Essential Qualifications & Experience
1. Professional marketing qualification (e.g., CIM) or equivalent experience.
2. Strong background in B2B marketing, ideally within the commercial vehicle or service industry.
3. Proven expertise in digital marketing tools, automation, and data-driven strategies.
4. Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience managing marketing budgets.
5. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
