We're working alongside a leading regional firm, looking for a Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join our clients Private Client team in their Sheffield office. As a Private Client Paralegal, you will assist the team with all aspects of Private Client law, including maintaining meticulous records and accounts. This role is perfect for a candidate who is looking to take their career to the next level within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include:
* Providing efficient support to the Head of Department or Supervisor and working on cases independently.
* Handling a broad caseload, including Probate, Wills, Trusts, and Inheritance Tax matters.
* Ensuring accurate document preparation and maintaining detailed case records.
* Managing correspondence, including incoming and outgoing post, and client liaison.
* Diary management, ensuring deadlines are met and records are maintained.
* Delivering a high standard of client service in person, over the phone, and via email.
* Proactively supporting team objectives and contributing to the department’s success.
What we need from you:
* High personal standards of work.
* Previous Legal experience (within Private Client preferred but not essential).
* Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence to speak to people on the phone.
