Job summary This new post Locum Consultant comes during a period of Health Board-wide service reviews, including a comprehensive reconfiguration of services within the Division of Medicine across the health board. The appointee will be based at the Royal Gwent Hospital (RGH), Newport, responsible primarily for effective service delivery within General Internal Medicine services on the RGH site with the support of consultant colleagues. This post has been created to facilitate the ongoing reconfiguration and expansion plans for the GIM needs in line with increasing demands. The post holders will be actively involved in the ongoing development of services, with full and appropriate agreement with the appointee and clinical director.
