You will play a key role in the effective delivery of marketing and admissions in an exceptional school with a warm community atmosphere. Customer service is at the heart of this fast-paced role. Main purpose of the job:
The Admissions assistant, working alongside the Admissions Manager, will be responsible for creating an outstanding experience for parents and pupils through the Admissions/ Parent Experience Journey, as families progress from initial enquiry through to and including the child's first day at Boundary Oak School. Working closely with the Admissions Manager, the role will have a direct impact on maximising the school's conversion of enquiries into new starters from Pre-School through to Senior School across the UK and overseas. The role will also support the Marketing Manager in delivering the right brand messages to all stakeholders within the school and wider community throughout all phases of the journey. The role will involve a ‘sales’ aspect across the school to encourage prospective families to move through each stage of the admissions process.
Contract: Term Time only (07:45 - 16:45) plus 6 weeks across the school year within school holiday periods (5 hours per day)This role includes:
conducting memorable and tailored school tours and guiding parents and students through the admissions processliaising with parents, school staff, representatives from Globeducate and other professionals,help to co-ordinate school visits, pupil taster days, induction days and admissions enquiriesanswer telephone calls and emails in a professional manner,ensuring enquiries are dealt with promptly with consistent attention to detail,accurate data entry into school systems, maintain pupil records and files to audit standardsmaintaining and reporting on data sets,attending Admissions events, some travel and weekend work will be involvedprovide occasional cover within the main school office, undertake general office administration tasks as requiredcarry out such duties as the Admissions Manager or Senior Management Team may reasonably request throughout the academic year.
