Job Title: SEN Tutor Location: South East England, Surrey, Guildford Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time hours Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide individualised support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Create and implement tailored learning plans based on each student's specific needs Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' learning experiences Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting teaching strategies as needed Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for students Required Qualifications: Experience working with students with SEN Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles Education: Degree in Education or relevant field Experience: Minimum of 2 years working as an SEN Tutor or in a similar role Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of different special educational needs and strategies to support them Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively Empathy and patience when working with students with SEN Preferred Qualifications: Additional training in SEN support Experience using assistive technologies in the classroom Working Conditions: The role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The tutor will primarily work in an educational setting, providing support to students with SEN. Collaboration with other professionals and occasional meetings with parents may be required.
