We are currently looking for an innovative Project Manager to join the Commercial and Programmes team based at our Winsford site.
The Commercial and Programmes team supports existing customer projects within the Defence sector in the UK and overseas.
Rolls-Royce Distributed Generation Systems business specialises in the design, development, manufacture and support of electrical power generation, and distribution systems for clients operating in harsh environmental conditions. Our products are supplied to military, marine, homeland security, first responders and disaster relief markets.

Hybrid working is a way in which our people can balance their time between the office, home or another remote location. It’s a locally managed and flexed informal discretionary arrangement. What you will be doing:
In this role you will manage the day-to-day running of assigned contracts. You will also;
1. Monitor, control and manage the overall project performance to address deviations from plan in line with company standard processes.
2. Influencing and management of key internal and external project/programme stakeholders.
3. Regular reporting and updating to convey ideas, expectations, and information to the project team, stakeholders, and clients.
4. Support or lead, where appropriate, the drafting, negotiating and amendment of allocated proposals and contracts in accordance with all relevant processes.

5. Degree qualified or equivalent experience working within a similar role
6. Proven track record in project management, achieving and exceeding targets
7. Strong in strategic and analytical thinking, taking initiative, managing challenges in changing business environment
8. Excellent networking and stakeholder management.
9. High integrity, good work ethics, strong drive, customer focus
The professional level and salary of the position will be dependent on the skills and experience of the successful candidate.
