A well-qualified and enthusiastic full-time teacher of Science to teach across the full age and ability range. It would be advantageous if candidates have experience of teaching A Levels but this is not essential. Applications are welcome from teachers at any stage in their career; also from early career teachers.
Science Teacher – East Riding
A dedicated and passionate Science Teacher is required to work at a popular secondary school in East Riding, to join them on a full-time basis, teaching key stage 3 & 4.
This position is five days a week, full time, and is open to ECTs as well as experienced Teachers.
You will be required to become fully involved within the department & school and attend departmental meetings when required, and be available for parents’ evenings as well as planning and delivering captivating, high standard lessons that will stretch the pupils in their learning.

Hours – 8:30am – 4pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree educated with a good classification
Secondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT,, QTS, etc)
Previous experience working with young people (which we can reference)
Experience of teaching in a Secondary School (which we can reference)
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide the training)
Up to date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, again, we can provide the training)
Up to date behaviour management & FGM training (essential, however, training can be provided).

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application at a cost of £
Provide a minimum of two professional references.
