As they continue to expand, our client is seeking a highly experienced and driven Practice Director to lead their creative division in London. Role Overview As the Practice Director, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of the creative recruitment business in London. There is a particular focus on contract, but permanent focus will also be under your remit. You will lead a talented team of recruitment consultants, whilst also billing and develop strong client relationships, and ensure our client are attracting and placing the very best talent in the creative industry. You’ll have the opportunity to shape the agency's growth, expand their client portfolio, and elevate the recruitment experience for both clients and candidates. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Strategy: Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team of recruiters. Drive the agency’s strategic vision for growth within the creative sector. Client Relationships: Build and nurture relationships with new and existing clients, offering tailored recruitment solutions to meet their unique needs. Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, pitch services to potential clients, and expand our market presence. Talent Acquisition: Oversee the recruitment process to ensure our client are delivering top-tier creative talent, with a strong focus on matching both the skills and culture fit for clients. Market Insight: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and the evolving needs of creative talent. Provide thought leadership and insights to clients and team members. P&L Management: Take ownership of financial performance, managing budgets, forecasts, and achieving revenue targets. Brand Representation: Represent the agency at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to increase visibility and brand awareness. Skills & Experience Extensive experience in recruitment, within the creative or design sector, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of managing, developing, and inspiring a high-performing team. Strong network within the creative industries, including advertising, design, digital, media, and tech. Exceptional business development skills with a strong commercial acumen. A passion for creativity and innovation, with a deep understanding of the creative sector’s talent needs and challenges.
