Are you passionate about making workplaces safer and ensuring compliance with the latest Health & Safety standards? As our Health & Safety (H&S) Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing safety management across the organisation. Collaborate with the H&S team and senior leaders to implement innovative strategies, analyse data for performance improvements, and contribute to digital transformation initiatives that shape the future of safety in our industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic Impact: Support the H&S Director in developing performance-driven strategies, creating insightful reports, and analysing data to drive continuous improvement.
* Site Assurance: Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance across manufacturing facilities and project sites.
* Standards & Certifications: Lead initiatives to maintain and enhance ISO45001 certifications, ensuring best practices are met and exceeded.
* Innovation & Digital Transformation: Be at the forefront of digital safety, implementing new technologies and enhancing systems for effective H&S management.
* Engagement & Communication: Create impactful Toolbox Talks, alerts, and bulletins, and support internal forums and award submissions.
* Operational Excellence: Coordinate the H&S team’s monitoring schedule, manage shared inboxes, and assist in tender submissions for new projects.
What You’ll Bring
* Proven experience with digital reporting platforms and a knack for analysing and presenting data to inform strategic decisions.
* Strong understanding of statutory Health & Safety regulations and familiarity with QA and compliance systems.
* Outstanding organisational skills with a sharp eye for detail to ensure projects are seen through to completion.
* Exceptional communication and people skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels, including senior management.
Desirable Extras
* NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent (or the drive to achieve it!).
* Experience in the engineering or construction industry with a track record of excellence in Health & Safety services.
* Expertise in civil claim and insurance processes or ISO45001 auditing.
