Payroll and Compliance Administrator – Coulsdon Our client is an established firm of Accountants offering a supportive and inclusive working environment. Job Overview: Client: The firm works with a diverse client base, including music and entertainment professionals, high net worth individuals, owner-managed businesses, families, and private clients. Primary Focus: Managing client payroll (both monthly and annual) and supporting compliance tasks, including company secretarial matters and assisting with HMRC filings. Key Responsibilities: Payroll Management: Processing and delivering payroll for around 60 clients using Sage Payroll. Handling both monthly and annual payrolls. Compliance Administration: Monitoring compliance deadlines through internal CRM systems and communicating with the team. Preparing company secretarial documents (e.g., confirmation statements, year-end filings with Companies House). Assisting with HMRC filings for personal and corporate tax returns. Client Onboarding: Completing client onboarding, including drafting engagement letters and setting up internal systems. Conducting anti-money laundering checks. Billing and Debt Chasing: Managing the WIP (work in progress) system, producing billing analysis, raising invoices, and following up on payments. Administrative Support: Managing team diaries and organizing meetings. Handling general office administration, including scanning and distributing post. Skills Required: Attention to Detail: Precision in payroll and compliance matters is critical. Client Service: A focus on providing excellent service to clients. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and client needs. Technology Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and the ability to work with various systems. Process-Oriented: Following processes to ensure accuracy and compliance. Experience Required: Experience in payroll management for multiple clients. Familiarity with compliance management in an accounting or legal context. Administrative experience, especially in managing teams and deadlines. This role would suit a detail-oriented individual with experience in payroll, compliance, and administrative functions, who can thrive in a client-focused and dynamic environment. Salary – Fletcher George have set a band of £30,000 - £35,000 as a guide, the firm also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
