An experienced FPGA Design Engineer is sought to work on the development of a high-speed network interface card.
Working through a series of prototypes your aim is to ultimately deliver a production-grade solution.
Responsibilities:
1. Microarchitecture definition, implementation, and testing.
2. Interfacing with software.
3. Prepare detailed technical documentation and presentations to stakeholders.
4. RTL Implementation, synthesis, timing closure, unit verification planning, and simulation testing using SystemVerilog.
5. Deliver and validate FPGA-based lab setups for customer trials.
Experience:
With extensive hands-on industry experience of FPGA design for network applications at 100Gbps and above, you should have experience using PCIe, CXL, RDMA, DDR4, bare metal use of high-speed transceivers, Ethernet, IP. Comprehensive understanding of clock domain crossing techniques is essential. Having previously worked in FPGA Design for High-Speed Optical Networks, you should be familiar with the following: SystemVerilog/Verilog/VHDL; scripting and automation, such as TCL and Python; Questa, ModelSim, GHDL, Verilator, cocotb; Quartus/Vivado/Vitis; PCIe driver development and embedded systems.
Qualifications:
As the successful FPGA Design Engineer, you will have achieved a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electronics Engineering, Physics, or other relevant discipline. Substantial experience within the industry will also be considered.
