Procurement Manager – Lincoln - Site-based (Food Manufacturing) – up to £48,000
Let's keep it simple: we need a savvy Procurement Manager who knows how to get the best deal without sacrificing quality. This is a hands-on role. You’ll be on-site, making sure all the raw materials and packaging turn up on time and in the right condition.
The Role:
You’re the go-to for all things buying. From raw ingredients to packaging, if it comes through the door, you’re responsible for managing the suppliers, and getting the best price without cutting corners.
You know how to build relationships that make suppliers want to go the extra mile. And if they’re not delivering? You’ll know when to push, when to negotiate, and when to find someone new.
You’ll be managing budgets, negotiating contracts, and figuring out where we can save without impacting quality.
It’s not just about getting stuff in the door. It’s about making sure what comes in is the quality we need to make the products stand out.
You Should Have:
Solid procurement experience. Ideally in food manufacturing or FMCG.
A knack for negotiation. You’re comfortable haggling and know how to get value.
An eye for detail. Missing a tiny thing in a contract can cost big, so you’re sharp.
Knowledge of food safety and regulatory stuff. You understand that in this game, quality and compliance are everything.
What’s in it for You?
Besides the £48,000 salary, you’ll be in a role where your work has a direct impact. It’s a real chance to make a difference, streamline things, and work in a company that’s growing fast and values what you bring to the table.
