Reporting to the Strategic Lead: Repairs and Maintenance you will in the role as Operational Lead (Responsive Repairs and Empty Homes) manage our inhouse operational Building Maintenance Team focussing on the delivery of responsive repairs and empty homes by delivering an effective, efficient and compliant service. You be responsible for managing costs, risks, staff and equipment resources to ensure high levels of satisfaction, value for money and safe working practices are achieved. You must have previous experience of managing and developing a team of staff, of building maintenance improvement and construction projects and of managing works under contract and sub-contractors as well as your own workforce. To hold a Level 5 qualification in a building related discipline is essential for this role, as is previous experience of financial management and interpreting plans/technical drawings.
