Business Development Manager - Transport - Duties
Develop and grow full load sales
Research and identify new business opportunities and convert them into trading partners.
Build relationships with key decision-makers and maintain long-term partnerships.
Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline with a focus on consistent business growth.
Leverage professional networks to generate leads and secure new business.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales and Commercial teams to align strategies and ensure client satisfaction.
Data-Driven Approach: Conduct rate analyses, review cost structures, and recommend strategies to maximize profitability.
Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of long-term sales strategies and market expansion plans.
Business Development Manager - Transport - Requirements
A strong background in Transport & Haulage and sales with a record of delivering results.
Experience managing sales pipelines, exceeding revenue targets, and closing major deals.
Solid understanding of the Transport market and full load operations.
Ability to build and nurture relationships with stakeholders and clients.
Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with CRM software and MS Office tools.
Flexibility to travel and adjust working hours to meet business needs.
Confident, resourceful, and able to work under pressure.
