Job Description
Consilium Contracting Services, a fast-paced, 24/7 multi-trade contracting company is seeking aReactive Repairs Plumberto join their team. Based in Selkirk and operating throughout the Scottish Borders, this role focuses on delivering plumbing maintenance, installations, and repairs within Social Housing settings.
The successful candidate will be fully qualified with extensive experience in maintenance and reactive plumbing. This role offers the potential to grow into a working supervisor position, and familiarity with Social Housing is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
* Void property upgrades (primarily plumbing-related tasks).
* Reactive plumbing repairs.
* Plumbing upgrades and installations in homes and respite/care facilities.
* Bathroom and kitchen refurbishments.
* Ensuite upgrades.
* Medical adaptations and installations (e.g., WCs, baths).
* Assist other trades as required.
* Ensure essential plumbing needs are met promptly.
This role includes participation in an on-call rota (approximately 1 in 4 weeks), which is remunerated accordingly.
Candidate Requirements
* Fully qualified plumber with experience in reactive and maintenance plumbing.
* Familiarity with Social Housing settings is preferred.
* Strong work ethic and commitment to completing an honest 8-hour workday.
* Willingness to travel throughout the Borders region as required.
* A proactive, customer-focused attitude.
