Job Summary
The Estates Coordinator will support the H&S and Estates Manager in the ongoing estates and health and safety management. Coordinate the planned/regular estates and H&S tasks to an agreed schedule.
Main Duties of the Job
1. Coordinating the scheduled programme of maintenance carried out by contractors to meet the hospices legislative requirements.
2. Undertaking regular audits across all Hospice premises to ensure compliance e.g. COSHH, fire, Infection Prevention and Control, LOLER etc.
3. Carrying out routine inspections and tests to fire safety equipment in the main hospice building, including fire alarms, emergency lights, escape routes and extinguishers to ensure they are compliant and in working order.
4. Undertaking routine checks of first aid equipment.
