About the role:
As theReliability Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring production lines operate seamlessly to maintain the exceptional quality our customers love.
You’ll liaise daily with all onsite teams, including engineering and production. Working closely to identify key areas of improvement you’ll collaborate with the Engineering Planner to ensure remedial works are carried out efficiently, with minimal disruption to production.
What you’ll be doing:
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse equipment performance and identify potential failure points.
* Perform detailed root cause analyses to understand equipment malfunctions and develop effective solutions.
* Implement predictive maintenance strategies to optimise equipment efficiency and reduce downtime.
* Utilise advanced condition monitoring techniques to track machinery health and take proactive measures.
* Develop and manage maintenance schedules to ensure consistent equipment reliability.
* Lead efforts to integrate reliability-centered maintenance practices across the production process.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and procedures.
A little bit about you:
* HND or HNC in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or a related field).
* Proven experience as a Reliability Engineer, preferably within the food manufacturing sector.
* Familiarity with predictive and preventive maintenance methodologies.
* Proficiency in reliability tools such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and condition monitoring techniques.
* Knowledge of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
* Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
* Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
* Commitment to safety and a proactive attitude toward maintaining a secure work environment.
