Job Description
Field Support responsibilities will include attending service reviews to ensure our Care Pro's are practicing the current standards of Home Instead delivery of care, as well as the high standards that we practice for our CQC rating. Also ensuring that they are happy as well as the clients. Our values are: fairness, reliability, honesty, support, and happiness. Field support Care Pro's will ensure all these values are met.
Your primary responsibility will be to assist clients, providing their care in a dignified manner from start to finish, giving companionship and stimulation with their daily activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and maintenance of their emotional health and wellbeing. You will have your own clients also to follow:
1. Personal Care: Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting when required.
2. Medication Reminders: Ensuring clients take their medications as prescribed.
3. Meal Preparation: Planning and preparing nutritious meals according to dietary needs.
4. Light Housekeeping: Assisting with light cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
5. Transportation: Providing transportation for clients to appointments, errands, and social outings, giving them the freedom and choice when required.
Gaining familiarity about you, your hobbies, and interests, you will be matched to your clients and will remain under their care, allowing you both to build a trusting relationship. To engage with each other, you will not only complete the task-led elements of your visit but can also be their companion.
You will be supporting them to stay at home with their creature comforts and familiar environments, allowing them to continue living life their way, as comfortably as possible, putting their wishes at the very heart of what you do.
Qualifications
You should have experience in care, ideally have an NVQ2 & 3 in Health & Social Care. However, if you don't and you have a lot of experience, we will gladly have a discussion about the role.
You MUST be a driver with your own vehicle.
