Key Responsibilities
:
1. Personal Assistant Duties:
2. Managing schedules and diaries for the conveyancing team.
3. Organising appointments and meetings, including client visits.
4. Preparing and processing correspondence, including emails, letters, and memos.
5. Handling phone calls, taking messages, and responding to client queries as required.
6. Assisting with travel arrangements, if necessary.
7. Residential Conveyancing Support:
8. Typing and preparing legal documents related to residential property transactions, including contracts, completion statements, and letters.
9. Organising and maintaining client files, ensuring all paperwork is up to date and compliant with legal requirements.
10. Assisting with the preparation of property searches, dealing with local authorities and third parties as required.
11. Managing post and dealing with incoming and outgoing correspondence related to property transactions.
12. Liaising with clients, estate agents, solicitors, and other third parties to facilitate the smooth progression of transactions.
13. Assisting with the management of the conveyancing process from instruction to completion.
Skills & Experience Required:
14. Previous experience working as a secretary/PA, ideally within residential conveyancing or a legal environment.
15. Strong typing and document preparation skills with a keen eye for detail.
16. Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
17. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
18. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
19. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and ideally familiar with conveyancing software systems.
20. A proactive, friendly, and professional approach to client and team interactions.
