The SAP Ariba Support Team Lead is accountable for overseeing a team tasked with the setup, maintenance, and management of procurement catalogues within SAP Ariba, as well as ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of e-tenders for both direct and indirect procurement of goods and services. This role plays a critical part in driving procurement excellence, maintaining compliance with organisational policies, and delivering value to internal stakeholders through efficient and effective procurement operations. This role is overseeing the team to ensure efficient setup, maintenance and management of procurement catalogues within SAP Ariba. Manage, mentor, and develop the SAP Ariba Support Team to ensure optimal performance and professional growth. Oversee the end-to-end setup, maintenance, and optimisation of procurement catalogues in SAP Ariba. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness within catalogues to facilitate seamless procurement transactions. Supervise the effective execution of e-tenders for direct and indirect procurement of goods and services. Continuously assess Catalogue and E-Tendering workflows to identify opportunities for optimisation and efficiency improvements. Provide technical and functional support for SAP Ariba users across the organization This role requires strong technical expertise, people management experience, a customer-centric mindset and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in SAP Ariba tools together with an understanding of procurement workflows and how technology supports them plus a willingness to leverage analytics and reporting to drive decision-making are all critical for success. However, equally important is the need to be compliant, balanced with a service mindset and ownership for driving results, performance and delivery of business goals. SME in SAP Ariba, ideally within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of SAP Ariba Catalogue management and e-tendering processes. Management experience is essential. Good understanding of procurement policies and compliance requirements. A passion for driving user adoption and delivering impactful training programmes.
