In the BS35 area of South Gloucestershire, there is a 1 form entry Primary School in a fabulous village seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis to support Class Teachers with small group interventions.
You will have the opportunity to join a fantastic team of staff who are supportive of one another. You will be able to work closely with the Class Teachers to support the children across KS2 with their Maths, Literacy, and Reading.
The Role
This role is for someone with prior experience working with children who would like to work as a Teaching Assistant, supporting children’s academic development.
You will need to provide structure, engaging activities, and adapted support to continue making a positive impact on the pupils' achievements through a personalised approach.
You will be expected to:
* Communicate effectively with the Class Teacher.
* Have high expectations for the pupils.
* Have previous experience working with children.
* Be enthusiastic about helping the wider school community.
* Use your initiative to adapt activities to meet the pupils' needs.
