Construction Manager (Electrical)
Locations: Bonnybridge, Cambuslang, Scottish Power HQ, SPT-Cambuslang, Reino Unido
Salary: Up to £70,400 per year on a 37-hour basic week, plus overtime available.

Overtime payments:
* Monday - Saturday (8am till midnight) - Time and a Half
* Monday - Saturday (midnight to 8am) - Double Time
* Sunday - Double Time (all hours)
Role
The Electrical Construction Manager has a key role in the SPT business, responsible for managing CMT resource and outputs during Development, Procurement, Delivery, and Closure for all major projects.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the Development, Procurement (Prequalification / Tendering), and Construction delivery of project scopes from concept to closure.
* Ensure regulatory compliance with Health and Safety Law, CDM regulations 2015, and Environmental Legislation.
* Manage the commercial administration of each package of work to control CAPEX risk.
* Monitor regulatory outputs in line with programmed milestones.
* Oversee all supply, civil, electrical, cable & OHL packages to ensure compliance with Health & Safety and O&M requirements.
What you will bring
* Proven knowledge and experience in planning and managing Electrical works within a Transmission substation environment.
* Ability to interpret Electrical schematic and wiring design drawings.
* Basic knowledge in delivering civil, OHL, and cable packages of work.
* Strong leadership and planning skills.
* Experience in Contract Management.
* Awareness of NEC / FIDIC Conditions of Contract.
* Ability to Lead, Manage, and Collaborate on project outputs.
* Knowledge of Line Management responsibilities.
Minimum Requirements:
* Electrical Engineering Degree or equivalent experience in Construction Management within the Power Sector.
* Excellent IT skills.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Current five-day SMSTS qualification.
