Contracts Manager
Location: Ongar, Essex (Projects based in various areas of London and Essex)

Our client is a family run building company established in 2004. Their office is based in Essex, and they are currently looking to fulfil a new Contracts Manager position for their expanding business.
The company's clients vary to include local authorities, housing associations and the private sector.
The Role
* Site visits.
* Running of contracts they have been awarded.
* Organising labour and materials.
* Liaising with clients and other office staff.
* Organising and updating paperwork.
* Preparing invoice breakdowns.
* Finalising completed works.
Skills and Qualifications
Skills:
* Used to working with housing associations and local authorities.
* Excellent communication skills via the telephone and face to face.
* Excellent computer skills.
* A smart and professional appearance.
* Dedication to the company's high standard.
* Efficient timekeeping and organisational skills.
* Able to produce full snagging list prior to handover of works.
Essential Requirements:
* Must have full UK driving licence (Vehicle supplied)
* Extensive knowledge of all types of building work, refurbishment, and day to day maintenance.
* Polite telephone manner.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Personal Qualities:
* Self-motivated and target driven.
* Willing to work in a team as well as an individual.
* Able to manage and complete all workloads to a satisfactory standard.
* Ambition to progress within the company.
