Your responsibilities: providing advice, information and services as may be required by the council to ensure that it operates within its legislative mandate manage the preparation and issue of notices and agendas and minutes for council meetings and parish meetings investigate, prepare and monitor projects manage 3 staff and councillors liaising with other authorities and parish/town councils. You will need: administrative experience in the public or private sector or equivalent knowledge and experience. A Certificate in Local Council Administration (CiLCA) is desirable ability to plan and organise the business of the council, taking responsibility for delivery of tasks reporting and verbal communication skills demonstrating the ability to provide clear, accurate and concise information evidence of working with information and communications technology, particularly Windows-based software, e-mail and internet services a clear understanding of confidentiality and data protection requirements in the workplace. The minimum requirement is a willingness to train for the CiLCA if this qualification has not been obtained.
