This role is a 12 month maternity cover contract based at our Reading offices in Wokingham. The role is perfect for someone with experience in the DIY industry and strong selling skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Trade/DIY sales and account management teams with creation of bespoke POS, manuals, and guides for their customer accounts.
* Support the Trade/DIY & KF Operations managers with planning and coordinating meetings and functions for the sales and account management teams.
* Completion of visitor logging for Trade/DIY & KF stakeholders visiting the Sheffield head office site.
* Process uniform and PPE requests for both the Trade/DIY & KF sales teams.
* Create line plans for Trade/DIY sales and account management team’s customer accounts.
* Manage orders, packing, and delivery of sales team event POS and tools.
* Complete ad-hoc requests from Trade/DIY & KF stakeholders.
* Support the CBG sales and account management team stakeholders with territory optimization changes through the Geo-Plan platform.
Communication
* Support Sales Development team through regular weekly meetings with the Trade/DIY Operations Manager, KF Operations Manager, and Sales Training Manager.
* Attend weekly Trade/DIY sales and account management team calls, delivering operational updates and key business activity.
* Build and circulate the weekly business activity communication for Trade/DIY & KF sales teams.
* Build and circulate incentive communication updates to the Trade/DIY & KF sales teams.
* Build and circulate the monthly SherWINS communication for both the Trade/DIY & KF sales teams, with internal stakeholders.
* Delivery of sales support team monthly update at SET team meetings, using 4 block plan structure.
SFDC System
* Create and distribute SFDC action plans to KF sales team customer accounts.
* Manage KF action plan reporting, sharing completion updates with KF Operations Manager and internal stakeholders.
* Attend regular team calls with Sales Operations Managers and CRM Manager for continuous review and improvement of sales team operation.
* Coordination and management of SFDC dashboard windows, in alignment with Trade/DIY & KF Operations Managers & CRM Manager.
* Utilize Continuous Improvement (CI) to ensure communication practices increase product and sales performance awareness.
* Downloading and saving of ad-hoc SFDC reporting requests, to support with activity review for both Trade/DIY & KF sales teams.
Customer Orientation
* Support the Trade/DIY sales and account management teams with creation of customer business plans.
* Management and coordination of customer CPI communication, through transference of customer data, printing, packing, and sending letters.
* Creation of KF customer UM communication decks, with alignment from KF Operations Manager.
* Management of KF new starter set up forms with SW HRSS and B&Q HR / Security teams, for creation of paint machine log in credentials.
KF Chip Management
* Management and coordination of colour chip PO’s: QRTLY orders.
* Review and analysis of colour chip stock holding: OOS’s, Old stock rotation, Overstocks being booked back on.
* Management and connectivity of order process between UK, FR & PL.
* Collaborative working with internal stakeholders as part of chip order management: Finance, Marketing, West Lancs, Operations.
Minimum Requirements
* Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
* Delivers clear, high-quality written and verbal communication.
* Has worked collaboratively within a sales team.
* Demonstrates strong organizational skills and planning.
Preferred Qualifications
* Knowledge of the DIY industry.
* Ideally from a sales background, with strong selling skills.
* Demonstrate a track record in a customer-facing role.
* Ability to negotiate.
* Demonstrate determination and a passion to improve sales.
* Knowledge of SW brands and products.
* Knowledge of the SW markets – KF, Trade & DIY.
