We are thrilled to present a fantastic locum opportunity for an Advanced Practitioner within Child Protection/Children In Need in Ashton-Under-Lyne, earning an impressive £43 hourly. This position is available for a period of 3 months, and you will be working full-time from 09:00 to 17:00. You will be part of the dynamic Safeguarding and Support team, where social workers manage Child In Need, Child Protection, pre-proceedings, and court matters.

What you will do:
1. Conduct thorough assessments of children in need, including those requiring protection and cared for children.
2. Coordinate service provisions to effectively meet the assessed needs of children.
3. Perform reviews and statutory visits according to statutory and service procedures.
4. Engage with children and families through direct work, addressing their specific needs.
5. Promote the cultural, religious, and linguistic identity needs of children.
6. Foster strong, open working relationships with parents, carers, and children to ensure full participation in meeting children's needs.
7. Support the development of parents and carers to secure the best outcomes for children.
8. Collaborate with colleagues and other agencies for joint efforts in appropriate cases.
9. Adhere to statutory regulations and meet professional registration standards set by Social Work England.
10. Prepare and communicate detailed information to Panels, the Court, and other agencies.
11. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring effective communication with involved professionals.
12. Participate actively in regular supervision sessions with the Team Manager and undertake required training and development.
13. Ensure adherence to Council and service policies, contributing to policy-making and service reviews.
