(Available for a minimum of 2 days per week (Mon-Fri), 8-10 hours per day between 7am-11pm)
Location: Wandsworth - SW18
This role will be key in delivering high quality care and experiences for all children and their families. Ensuring the highest level of supervision is maintained, promoting safety and wellbeing. You must maintain “keeping everyone safe” policies and procedures. Working to our HEART Principles to deliver exceptional care.
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Supporting Bright Horizons clients by providing care for children on an ad-hoc basis.
2. Working with children across a variety of age ranges in educational play and delivering a range of activities to support their individual development.
3. Supervising the children throughout the day, ensuring their safety and wellbeing are paramount.
4. Always promoting and implementing our Bright Horizons policies and procedures.
What We Are Looking For:
1. Experienced in childcare with the experience to care for children of all ages.
2. Early Years Qualification* along with professional UK experience working with children.
3. Exceptional communication skills at all levels.
4. Thorough understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of children.
5. Flexible and dynamic approach with the ability to work with a variety of families.
*Qualifications / Experience Needed:
1. Unqualified Candidates need a minimum of 2 years childcare experience.
2. Level 2 Childcare qualified - minimum of 18 months childcare experience.
3. Level 3 Childcare qualified (or above) - minimum of 1 year’s childcare experience.
