Vacancy Brief: The role is that of a Finance Manager within the Corporate Finance team. The vacancy is a permanent post. This is a full-time vacancy; 37 hours a week. Monday – Friday with flexible working hours of between 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Salary for this vacancy is £56,089.00 per annum. Based in Bristol, office based. The role is subject to a standard DBS check Successful candidate will hold a CCAB (or equivalent) qualification. In addition to being part of the technical finance team, this role also involves responsibilities for risk and insurance. While knowledge of the insurance industry, its procurement processes, and an understanding of risk frameworks would be advantageous, it is not essential. The Responsibilities: In your role as a Finance Manager, you will provide financial advice and guidance to managers to improve business performance and the delivery of the corporate vision, priorities & values. An important aspect of your job role will be to take a proactive approach in managing and delivering timely financial and management accounting services including budgeting, medium- and long-term financial planning, project support, forecasting, in-year financial reporting (including the closure of the annual accounts) and control obtain and assess information to determine local taxation liability in accordance with legislation. This includes determination and allowance of discounts, reliefs, and exemptions. Part of your job role will require you to be an integral member of the finance management team, identifying, developing & supporting opportunities and initiatives to transform the delivery of financial services across the organisation including debt management and governance.
