The post holder will be responsible for supporting the Head of Improvement by:
1. Organising key workshops for the Improving Together implementation supporting the management and organisation of frontline, directorate and corporate training sessions with multiple stakeholders across the Trust as well as management of the transformation portfolio.
2. Supporting the team as appropriate with small quality improvement projects.
3. Developing and maintaining a list of QI projects happening across the Trust, supporting the monitoring of progress through Care Group Management Boards, Clinical Governance, COEC and Executive Management Committee.
4. Supporting the team with the collation of materials and maintenance of the Improving Together community on the Trust intranet and to be responsible for ensuring content is up to date and appropriate.
5. Supporting the Improving Together Directors to monitor the delivery of the benefits from the Business Case for Continuous Improvement.
Main duties of the job
1. To support to the senior members of the Improving Together Team, especially the Head of Improvement in order to help ensure the smooth and efficient organisation and carrying out of their responsibilities.
2. To support the team by scheduling training sessions (workshops and coaching) with frontline, directorate and Care Group management teams to implement the Improving Together Management System.
3. Maintaining the Trust-wide database of QI projects and implementing a routine rhythm of reporting to the Trust committees, by scheduling and supporting the drafting of reports on quality improvement activity across the Trust for the Directors.
4. Responsible for the collation of materials, upload and monitoring of content to the Improving Together hub on the Trust intranet.
5. Working with communications and the Improving Together team to agree standardised communications.
6. Responsibility for raising purchase orders on the procurement system in accordance with the Trust's Standing Financial Orders.
7. Ensure Optimise/rota system is kept updated for all staff members in the Improvement and Transformation teams and published in time for payroll.
