We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive primary school. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire and challenge pupils at a key stage in their learning journey. This role begins March 2025.
Duties of a Year 5 Teacher:
* Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
* Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, ensuring every child makes progress
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes confidence, independence, and a love of learning
* Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
* Foster high expectations of behaviour and achievement
* Participate in school events, trips, and extracurricular activities to enhance the school experience for pupils
Ideal Year 5 Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 5
* A strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies
* Excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to high standards
* A passion for education and a dedication to helping children reach their full potential as a Year 5 Teacher.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
