About Our Client
With lots of new projects on the horizon, this family-friendly organisation is looking for a Finance Assistant to join them on a part-time basis for 12 months.
Offering specialist and bespoke services, the organisation has truly found a niche within their industry and offers exceptional services to their clients while investing in the future for their employees.
The primary focus of this job opportunity is to process the accounts payable and sales invoices, getting involved with bank reconciliations and ad hoc duties as required by the Finance Manager.
Job Description
Duties required of the Finance Assistant:
* Purchase ledger invoice process and matching to PO numbers
* Setting up new supplier accounts
* Processing bank payments
* Reconciling statements
* Raising sales invoices
* Reconciling benefits and remittance
* Setting up direct debits
* Bank reconciliations
The Successful Applicant
To be successful as the Finance Assistant, you will:
* Have experience in processing invoices, ideally in purchase ledger
* Possess Excel skills and proficiency in using spreadsheets
* Exhibit excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with internal and external contacts
