Fire Alarm Service Engineer
Salary: 40,000 - 46,000 (dependent on experience)
Earnings Potential: Up to 50,000 + Company Van

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to join a rapidly growing team known for its strong reputation in the fire detection and security industry. Job Purpose
We are looking for a Fire Alarm Engineer with over 3 years of experience to service and troubleshoot small works in Kent and South London. While the primary focus will be on fire detection servicing and reactive work, experience in security, access control, and CCTV systems would be highly advantageous.
About You
The ideal candidate will have a background in Fire or Fire and Security as a Service and Faults Engineer. Strong communication skills, enthusiasm, self-motivation, and effective time management are essential.
Skills Required
1. Experience with fire detection equipment, including conventional, addressable, and wireless fire alarm systems.
2. Familiarity with major brands such as Gent or Vesda, as well as other app-based systems.
3. Knowledge of security alarms, access control/door entry systems, and IP & analogue CCTV systems is a plus.
4. Understanding of Dual Com monitoring and other communication devices.
5. Maintenance experience with emergency lighting.
6. Knowledge of NSI codes of practice related to installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
7. Familiarity with industry standards, including EN50131, PD6662, DD243, BS4737, and BS8243.

Other Job Details
The role requires working at heights and can be physically demanding. A full UK driving license is essential, as you will be provided with a company vehicle to travel to various sites. Standard working hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with on-call duty every 6 weeks (additional paid overtime for on-call hours). NSSA Security Screening will be required for this position.
