Senior Business Analyst
Salary: Circa £50,000
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst (SBA) in the Retail Products Unsecured Lending Team.
The role will be responsible for designing and delivering value add business solutions across our Credit Card and Personal Loan products. We’re looking for candidates who are proactive, highly motivated, self-managing and can navigate ambiguity. Working alongside other change colleagues, the successful candidates will be involved in:
* Strategy, Shaping and Discovery
* Business Analysis
* Operating Model & Solution Design
* Business Process Design & Optimisation
* Requirements Engineering
* Business Change & Readiness
You’ll also be responsible for task managing people and providing advice and counsel to other members of the team.

What you’ll be doing
As a Senior Business Analyst in this role, you’ll be working closely with other BAs, building, managing, and leading in relationships, effectively engaging with the Change team. You’ll be accountable for the scoping, planning and defining approaches of initiatives, translating business content into relevant deliverables, providing analysis along the way to prompt successful completion of objectives.
You’ll be using your own initiative in this role and required to work with a pro-active mindset and an aim to identify, escalate and resolve issues/risks. As a Senior Business Analyst, you’ll strive for continuous development in your work, identifying areas for improvement throughout the lifecycle of an initiative.
This Senior Business Analyst role requires you to collaborate with change makers and leaders across the other change teams, as well as across COO, to understand and influence interlocks and dependencies.
With relevant experience under your belt, you’ll be using your business analysis or solution knowledge to identify solutions to achieve the best outcome, influencing business resolutions with confidence and innovation to achieve the best results.
About you
* Experience of working with a business analysis or solution design role.
* Excellent insight in defining business requirements with the ability to analyse and problem-solve to determine solutions.
* Knowledge in business solution/analysis techniques, tools, and methods with a strong understanding of their purpose, fit and relevance when initiating developments.
* An understanding of and the ability to accommodate the needs of multi-disciplined teams, consisting of internal and external resources i.e. third-party suppliers.
* A strong understanding of business processes and how technology supports business change.
* The ability to confidently communicate with the ability to influence stakeholders, task manage an analysis team and communicate progress at various levels.
* Experience of leading a team across small or large scale initiatives.
* Commitment to personal development and take responsibility for your own continuous improvement.
* Experience of delivering change through a variety of approaches including agile and waterfall.
