Description Key Responsibilities • All activities are performed in accordance with statutory, regulatory and company regulations and procedures. • Safe working environment by promoting and encouraging highest level of housekeeping standards • Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with Quality Policies and Procedures. • Receive goods ordered by the company through purchasing or supplied through the client as identified by the Project Managers into the warehouse and in accordance with the correct storage conditions • Ensure the receipt, check and inventory actions are performed within agreed client timelines • Cover for colleagues during periods of absence to ensure service levels are maintained. • Assist in any warehouse duties as required. Critical Tasks • Ensure licences are valid and up to date • Ensure that all relevant documentation is complete in a timely and accurate manner and compliant with GMP standards. • Check the receipts for the goods supplied (raw materials, intermediates and finished goods) and input details into inventory system in an accurate manner ensuring relevant document is passed to Quality Assurance. • Ensure all system activity is entered daily Key Result Areas & Measures (Quantitative/KPI/Qualitative) • All accidents and near misses are recorded and a full investigation is completed. • Perform all warehouse activities with the objective of achieving right first time. • Assist the Team Leader and Project Manager to ensure the clients customer service expectations are achieved • Complete the relevant deviation reports including damaged stock receipt or out of temperature reports on data loggers • Identify components approaching their expiry date and notifying the Project Manager • Keeps the Team Leader informed of any issues, which will prevent orders being available for dispatch at the agreed time. • Perform checks and maintenance on small plant and equipment within the warehouse as directed. • Participate within department and cross-functional improvement teams to improve distribution process efficiencies and achieve the business objectives. Critical Skills • All order processing activities are performed in accordance with Piramal Healthcare SOP’s and project specific requirements. • To accurately and promptly enter all information in relation to the component, location, and quantity on the relevant systems. • Download data loggers so that these can be passed to the relevant Project Manager. Relevant Experience The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role within a GMP environment.
