The company has circa 30 Nursing and Residential Care Homes for the Elderly, across Lancashire, Merseyside, Yorkshire and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities of a Chief Operating Officer :
1. Management of the senior director team.
2. Working towards company specific KPI’s.
3. Upholding exceptional company culture.
4. Overseeing the improvements to compliance and quality of the services.
5. Growth of the portfolio.
6. Growing the privately funded beds across the portfolio.
7. Maintain and improve high occupancy levels across the services.
8. Building relationships and communication with residents, relatives and external stakeholders.
9. Maintaining high staff retention.
10. Reducing and maintaining minimal agency usage.
Chief Operating Officer Requirements:
11. Experience as a Managing Director, Chief Operating Officer or equivalent is essential for this position.
12. Strong track record of commercial improvements & success.
13. Experience with a similar scale company.
14. Evidence of growth – commercially and portfolio wise.
15. Experience working in the health and social care sector is preferred.
16. Visible leadership.
17. Strong track record and understanding of quality and compliance – CQC is preferred.
18. Based in a commutable distance to the portfolio.
Benefits:
19. Salary of £300,000
20. Bonuses – last year’s being 8% (£24,000)
