The candidate will also have close interaction withcentral teams (EAP, Compliance, Legal, Procurement, PR/ER, Tech, WWSustainability and Engineering) and external stakeholders (WasteVendors).
The preferred candidate should bebased in UK and have experience testing and accelerating theroll-out of waste reduction initiatives. The candidate must possessstrong communication, negotiation and influencing skills to promoteconsensus across multiple internal and external stakeholders, aswell as a pragmatic results-oriented approach. The candidate willbe comfortable with data, dive deeps and problem-solving, alongwith the ability to thrive in a technical environment. Thecandidate will be motivated, agile, and have project managementskills and will have an interest in enabling us to identify andpromote sustainable opportunities at Amazon. Finally, the candidatewill show good judgment and continually improve their level ofknowledge about Amazon’s business, its platform, and relevanttechnologies.

Key jobresponsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Own CFStrategy and Execution of a comprehensive Circular Economy Programfocusing on Inventory Disposition and Waste for Amazon’s FCs.
- Bridge the strategy with execution; design newprocesses, SOPs and training material. Execute on the floor.
- Identification, analysis, design, costing and projectscoping of inventory disposition projects
- Identify andEvaluate new technology and processes to improve inventorydisposition
- Define programs and metrics and ensure EUgoals are achieved
- Secure buy-in from Amazon leadershipfor piloting & large-scale deployment across Amazon’s EUnetwork
- Communicate and present to key leaders throughMBR/QBRs.
- Prepare written analysis of findings andrecommendations for various building-related sustainabilitysolutions
- Analyze and communicate the financial impactof projects and initiatives
- Manage multiple, complexprojects simultaneously
- Build relationships withexternal suppliers and partners, and with internalstakeholders
BASICQUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in program or projectmanagement
- Experience withExcel
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
-Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology
-Experience in MS Access and SQL
- Experience inrequirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailedrequirement document
