Job summary The post holder will become part of the expanding Early Intervention in Psychosisservice.The Early Intervention team work with clients who are experiencing a first episodepsychosis and also those deemed to be at risk of developing psychosis. The postholder will be based within the community team, working alongside carecoordinators, psychiatrists and CBT therapists.The role of the clinical psychologist will be to provide assessment, formulation andintervention to clients with first episode psychosis and co-morbid difficulties. Theclinical psychologist will also provide supervision, consultation and training for teammembers. It would be advantageous to have training in CBT for psychosis and/orFamily Intervention.
