The Opportunity: We are excited to recruiting for a Loan Administrator to join our Business banking team on a 7-month fixed term contract basis. This is a key position within the Business Banking department, in this role you will be responsible for documenting and securing new and existing facilities, managing the loans process to payout and completing all associated administration. You will also be providing guidance and advice to Relationship Managers on technical lending and security matters and generating/monitoring loan reports. This opportunity offers hybrid working typically this will require you to work 2-3 days in our Bristol office per week, with a choice of working from home on the other days - with some flexibility needed according to business needs (following an initial training and induction period). Key focuses and responsibilities will require you to: Assess all lending Handovers to document their facility agreements as required using both standard templates and the Loans Origination and Review tool. Accurately assess the legal requirements of all credit proposals and reviews, compiling security instructions to solicitors based on the specific terms of each proposal together with any additional Handover information available. Use in-depth technical knowledge of lending to identify and mitigate any risks, liaising with Credit department as necessary. Provide explanations to customers of complex lending terms and procedures through a variety of mediums, synthesising relevant information from Relationship Managers and solicitors as required. Update and maintain reports on the Bank’s loan book, reporting internally and externally as required. Ensure the integrity of electronic and paper customer files, maintaining filing in line with audit requirements, and developing BB filing policy in line with regulatory changes Apply all four eyes check and Internal Control (IC) procedures as required. Comply with all regulatory obligations and internal governance to help ensure ethical behavior, working to deliver good customer outcomes and avoiding foreseeable harm in line with Triodos’ practice of putting customers at the heart of what we do. What we are looking for: To be successful in this role you will relevant loan administration experience gained with financial services/ banking combined with a solid understanding of credit risk principles and good commercial acumen. You will possess excellent communication skills and an ability to communicate confidently and clearly with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. An ability to synthesise complex information quickly, and to apply it in a variety of settings is needed for this opportunity. Offer In return for your hard work and expertise, you will receive a competitive full time equivalent salary of £29,000 - £35,000 depending on experience, plus access to our extensive benefits package, where most of our benefits are non-contributory.
