About Us: Anzuk Education is a leading educational institution dedicated to providing exceptional support and education to children with special educational needs, for schools all over London. Our mission is to source excellent educators that create an inclusive, nurturing environment where every child can thrive. We are working with a great school in Croydon to find a Lead Teacher in a KS1 ASC Pathway, full-time from February until July, with the option to go permanent.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs.
Provide engaging and effective instruction in a variety of subjects, ensuring all students can access the curriculum.
Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods and strategies as needed.
Collaborate with parents, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for each child.
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and development. Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and proven experience in an SEN teaching role.
Strong understanding of special educational needs and inclusive education practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for teaching children with special needs.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals. Benefits:
