Enterprise Architect
Role Type: Permanent
Location: Glasgow, UK - 3 days' work from office.
Experience Required:
1. Experience in AWS Cloud Architecture and Services
2. Experience in designing highly available architectures and Disaster Recovery solutions
3. Experience in API design and in protocols such as REST and SOAP
Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning:
Develop and maintain the organization's IT architecture roadmap.
Align IT architecture with business strategies and objectives.
Conduct technology assessments and feasibility studies.
Identify emerging technologies and their potential impact on the organization.
2. Architecture Design:
Design and document high-level IT architecture blueprints.
Define standards, guidelines, and best practices for IT architecture.
Ensure consistency and interoperability across IT systems.
Model and analyze complex IT systems.
3. Technology Governance:
Establish and enforce IT architecture governance processes.
Review and approve IT projects and initiatives.
Ensure compliance with IT standards and regulations.
4. Solution Architecture:
Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define solution requirements.
Design and document detailed solution architectures.
Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and vendors.
Oversee the implementation of IT solutions.
5. Technical Leadership:
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to IT teams.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

2. Experience with various IT technologies and platforms.
