Job summary We are looking for a Receptionist to join our small front-office team. Shifts cover up to 10 hours per day with a 1-hour lunch break. Pay is pro-rata and will depend on the number of hours worked. Main duties of the job Our Receptionists greet, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective manner. They provide general assistance to the wider practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person, online or via the telephone. Following training, you will be expected to deal with all general enquiries, explain procedures and make new and follow-up appointments. You will receive patients, consulting with members of the Practice team, and process repeat prescription requests in accordance with Practice guidelines.
