About The Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Sales Support Specialist to join our team in Eastleigh. This position could be suited for an individual with high-quality customer service and great organisational and problem-solving abilities, who is looking for a new challenge. The main purpose of the role is to manage the commercial element of the UK MMS business to ensure very high service levels into our distribution partners.
Responsibilities
1. Manage the mix of products within the team's portfolio through price lists and quotes to hit plan targets and maximise margin opportunities. This will involve making pricing decisions and liaising with factories on lead times.
2. Provide the link between distribution partners and the product managers/factories on new product development. Provide pricing feedback into the business and updated quotes as the products are completed and market-ready.
3. Work in partnership with sales and product management to ensure that our distribution partners have a full understanding of our product set and portfolio through ongoing communication and training.
4. Review monthly Point of Sales from distribution partners and conduct regular meetings to ensure all actions to grow sales are on course.
5. Work closely with the Logistics Manager to ensure that SAP is fully updated with costs and lead times and that the supply chain is optimised to deliver plans and growth targets.
Qualifications & Requirements
1. Ideally hold previous experience within a customer service or commercial, similar position, within a manufacturing environment.
2. Curious learner.
3. Preferably hold knowledge and experience with SAP; however, this is not essential as training can be given.
4. Strong communication skills - written and verbal.
5. Excellent organisational skills.
6. Ability to analyze problems quickly and provide solutions.
7. Must have competent IT skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
8. A passion for providing high-level customer service.
9. A full valid UK driving license is essential as travel is required, typically covering the South East, one day every fortnight.
