EC is looking for a mid-weight Social Media & Content Manager. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager you will be a key player in the marketing department and instrumental in our efforts to raise the profile and drive growth of the business for the coming years.

Who are you?
* First and foremost, you are a passionate marketeer, you love what you do and understand the importance of a strong brand.
* You are bold and think outside the box.
* You have a creative eye and strong attention to detail. You ideally also have experience using designing tools such as Canva.
* You also have some experience editing images and videos (i.e. using Capcut or other systems).
* You are excited by social media and are experienced in effective social media strategy & execution. You follow social trends and are always thinking innovatively to not just follow them but make sure your content stands out.
* You’re organised, efficient and understand the importance of good communication.
* You’re a skilled copywriter, primarily short form (i.e. captions and comfortable responding creatively to comments).
* You’re interested in the events industry and what is going on in the wider market, although no previous event experience is required.
* You’re keen to learn and grow and open for your role to take different turns.
* You are a people person and happy to engage with anyone regardless of their role. You are inquisitive and have the nose for rooting out a good story.
* You ideally come from an Agency or start up background.
Day to day you’ll be:
* Working closely with our Senior Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and carrying out the company’s social media strategy including LinkedIn, Tiktok, EC Hire and EC Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest. Managing these vital marketing channels requires creativity, the ability to channel our brand’s tone of voice, and a razor-sharp feel for what’s going to be differentiating and effective.
* You will be in charge of all social interaction with partners, venues, event planners to respond and proactively seeking out where we can increase our visibility through commentary and interactions.
* You will grow to own the content calendar planning for the EC brand to amplify news, work, & thought leadership and to raise the profile and re-position the brand within the industry.
* Collating concise weekly marketing reports on social media performance to feed into the wider marketing reports.
* Ownership of behind-the-scenes video content which may involve attending events interviewing or filming the development in various department when it does not warrant a professional photographer or videographer.
* Assisting the Senior Marketing Manager to put together case studies to feature in sales decks and on our website.
* Working alongside the Marketing Director, Senior Marketing Manager and Client service team to support the partnerships with our venues and other industry partners.
* Filing invoices and managing day to day entries in the marketing budget.
* Liaising with all departments to coordinate coverage of EC expertise and events we want to showcase as well as gathering information for captions and case studies.
Admin/ad-hoc related tasks
* Briefing photographers / videographers to capture imagery from events earmarked for showcase.
* Uploading imagery to our image bank and supporting the wider business by choosing the right content for pitches, articles, mood boards and posts.
* Creating micro-content for social media, editing and publishing to EC social channels.
* Conducting competitor research.
