Job Description
Manage daily operations of Quality Assurance team in Bellshill, ensuring compliance with procedures and regulations.
This presents a fantastic opportunity for a quality professional with extensive experience in quality systems and regulatory compliance. We are looking for a proactive individual who can lead quality initiatives successfully, offer mentorship on QA standard processes, and collaborate across functions to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide leadership and coordination for the site-specific activities of the Quality Assurance function.
* Support the development, implementation, and continual improvement of Quality Management System (QMS) procedures.
* Coordinate and manage the site’s internal audit program to ensure adherence to the audit schedule and facilitate external audit readiness.
* Track and resolve internal audit findings within defined timelines.
* Review and approve document changes in alignment with regulatory and procedural requirements; ensure robust document and change control processes.
* Prepare and maintain quality documentation including protocols, reports, and technical specifications.
* Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the CAPA system, including holding regular status meetings to ensure timely closure.
* Maintain and report on site-specific Quality Metrics and support Management Review preparation and delivery.
* Lead the management of the site Change Control and Notification process.
* Conduct trending analysis for Quality Objective Metrics and support the presentation of findings during management reviews.
* Provide QA input into validation documentation and batch release activities.
* Contribute to other quality-related tasks and initiatives as required.
Knowledge, Experience and Technical Skills
Essential:
* Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biological Sciences, or a related field.
* Strong familiarity with quality inspection processes, sampling methodologies, and relevant test and measurement equipment.
* Demonstrated experience in a QA supervisory or team leadership role.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to build quality metrics and visual reporting tools.
Qualifications
Preferred:
* Experience with CAPA, deviation and nonconformance management, internal auditing, and supplier quality processes.
* Lead Auditor training and/or certification.
